Odd Dream

So I had this dream the other night. In it I saved this old guy from being crushed to death by falling debris coming down from a crumbling building. After this I was by myself and started singing. It was a good song, too, and something I totaly could use in my musical.

As soon as I thought this I woke up and went to my keyboard to play the song for my fiance, my brother, and a couple other people who were in my room. Unfortunately the keyboard started messing up. It was making the sounds as if it were on the violin setting, up as many octaves as possible, and bending the pitch even higher.

After fidgeting with the plug and outlet for a bit the keyboard started working again and I played the song. My brother said it was crap.

I woke up thinking, damn that was odd and I hate waking from one dream into another. Then I remembered that there was a song, but by that time I lost it. I hate it when that happens.

Musical

Okay, I'm going to do it. I'm going to write a musical.

Yes. A musical.

It'll take me a while but I already have two songs and some of the story. It's gong to be somewhat of a fairytale.

I'm going to work with Eric Nordin on the music. He helped me with the song "I Want Annie" for the film Finding Love for Annie. He doesn't know that we're going to write a musical together, but we are.

Now I just need to find someone to help me write the book and we'll be set!

I'll try posting some snippets of songs and whatnot to get you all excited. Or so you can tell me not to quit my day (night) job.

Again with the blogging

Sorry to those who have been checking in and not seeing anything. Here's an update on what's been going on:

-I'm still working at MGM Grand in the KA theater as a Gatekeeper. My "character" name is 'Jehuty. It comes from one of several names for an Egyptian god that is sometimes depicted as a babboon.

-I have officialy graduated from California State University, Chico. Though I've been done since December, 2004, and have had my diploma since March.

-My brother, Torrey, graduated from University of the Pacific's Doctor of Dental Surgery program. Yep, he's a tooth doctor now.

-And I'm going to get braces, again, to try to correct my underbite. I go to San Diego tomorrow to get started. (For those who don't know my father is an orthodontist in San Diego.)

Okay, there. Now stop bitching.
